"Muzyka Nowoczesna" is a TV program produced for the 4fun.tv station. The title of the series can be translated as "Modern Music". This 2h long program covers a wide range of topics related to contemporary dance/urban music.
In producing the series, my role was creative director.
Logo of the show is a simple composition of two letters in a circle shape. Typography is a meeting of two worlds - classic represented by 'muzyka' and modern represented by 'nowoczesna'.
The intro for the series was prepared with the help of 4fun.tv animator Siarhei Siarchenia. Abstract visual elements and music used in the background was sourced from Chicago based audio/visual artist Ryan McRyhew (laserpalace.com).
My main reference and inspiration for the intro was the now-legendary German TV station - Viva Zwei. I wanted to bring back the feel of this classic 90s aesthetic and combine it with a bit more contemporary use of typography.
